In 1992 Peter Rice (1935-1992) was awarded the RIBA Gold Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the design of the built environment. Twenty years on, the exhibition ‘Traces of Peter Rice’ celebrated the life and work of Ireland’s most pioneering structural engineer of the late 20th century.
